Mardi Gras - 2/24

Let me teach you somethings about Mardi Gras.
1. Getting beads at a parade is like getting the candy that they through out in parades, it is just something that happens. It is NOT something bad.
2. Missionaries in our mission are only allowed to go to the family friendly parades.
3. They are a lot of fun...and I have stuff to send y'all from the parade that we went to.

So by that you probably guessed that I went to a Mardi Gras parade. It was a lot of fun. I got a light up bouncy ball, a stuffed fish, a lot of beads, and cups. We went to the Eve Parade which is the big deal parade in the Mandeville/Covington area. It was a lot of fun.

Things were crazy this past week. We had two exchanges right after each other, I was down in one area for one and up in Covington for the next.
Well it is close to that time again. Transfers are next week. Only detail is that when I email you I won't know if I am staying or going because the libraries will be closed Tuesday (when we normally email transfer week) so we may end up emailing on Monday, but we will see. So with that in mind please send any letters or anything of that nature to the mission office if you know they won't get to me before Tuesday.
Well I sure love y'all to death and I hope you enjoy the pictures....the one that you see two little girls, I was trying to get a picture of the lady in back that is hooked to the float because the costume is so heavy.
Love,
Sister Brady
