So
like I said last week I won't find out until tonight if I am getting
transferred or not, so you'll just have to wait until next week to find
out.
Things this last week have been crazy. We went down to
Chalmette do do exchanges, I got to work down their with a sister that
is training and Sister Pike got to be with her former companion (she was
in Chalmette for 11 months) After that we had ZTM with the north zone,
it was good they shared a talk Elder Holland gave in the MTC and well it
was very much a slap in the face. Not because I am doing anything bad,
but because there are things that I could do better at so that the work
will go a lot smoother.
Today we had ZTM with the south zone. It was a lot of fun we did
skits to act out the principles we were asked to study. We then took a
break and had popcorn that Sister Pike and I spent last night popping
(our apartment is now infused with the smell of popcorn) while we were
doing other stuff.... We popped about 25 bags, and had five left over,
that no matter how much I like popcorn I can't eat anymore for
awhile...mainly because the apartment smells of it. Oh something I do
know is that the south zone will be receiving their own set of STLs :( I
love working with the south zone, the zone leaders are great, the
sisters are great, the elders are great, they are all beyond great.
Also yesterday our two nine year old investigators were baptized. I
tried not to cry too much, but the mom did end up giving us each a box
of Girl Scout cookies...I got Samoas and Sister Pike got Thin Mints. I
will send y'all pictures another time.
Love y'all and I hope you have a wonderful week,
Sister Brady
